Why we exist

Our Mission

To make every person's voice heard on the great questions of our world — not only those who already hold power.

The problem

The world's future is decided by a few

Every day, on issues that concern all of humanity — climate, peace, rights, the global economy — decisions are made by an extremely small minority. These are often leaders who were not chosen by their own people, dictators who speak on behalf of entire nations, or individuals who, despite having accumulated power or wealth, lack the culture, vision, or mandate needed to decide the future of others.

The majority of people on this planet are systematically ignored. Not because their opinions don't matter, but because there is no structured space in which to make them emerge with force, in an aggregated, visible, and impossible-to-ignore way.

"

No one should have the right to decide the future of others. Yet it happens every day, on a global scale, in the silence of those who have no voice.

Our response

Giving voice to as many people as possible

UN for the People was born to build that space. Our mission is to involve the greatest possible number of people in global discussions — not as spectators, but as protagonists. Every poll is an act of democratic resistance: it demonstrates that the collective opinion of humanity exists, is articulate, and deserves to be heard.

We do not want to replace institutions. We want to create such strong moral and numerical pressure that it becomes impossible to ignore. When millions of people clearly express their views on an issue, those in power can no longer pretend not to know what the world wants.
